Hi
Please take time to view my new and updated website at
http://lupinaine.webs.com/ your also welcome to write in the guestbook and register as a member hope to see you there
I would just like to say how much I appreciate the TBA and its honesty and forthrightness. You guys are taking some hits. Ive been interested in the tamaskan since I ran into info on the web (while researching the Czech wolfdog) back in 2006 or 07. I fell out of the loop about a year or so ago only to get on a week ago and then all this Info came out about blustag and what not. It comes as a shock and yet I myself was confused by seeing one breeder selling another breeder an F1 or 2 (clearly stated) wolfdog then seeing that SAME dog a year later on the new owners/breeders site listed as a Tamaskan dog. As a result I shied away from purchasing a tamaskan and instead purchased a newfie. (love them ^^)
For anyone interested in this breed PLEASE take the time to research and hear BOTH sides of the tamaskan story. After taking in all views, opinions, and claims make your own EDUCATED (that word is key guys) decision. To be too hasty in obtaining a puppy could mean heartbreak later. TDR may have more pups on hand, however, TBA , fewer breeders/pups or not, presents better odds in obtaining a HEALTHY pup. Its worth the wait. For Pro-TBA visit http://the-no-wolf-tamaskan-fable.blogspot.com as for the other side of the fence i'll say good luck to you because the founder of the TDR simply pleads the 5th. but, actions speak louder than words my friends.
I am inclined to take the TBA's side as this foundation not only points out flaws in others but also admits to flaws of their own. (pertaining to health hip/epilepsy etc.) Rather than just lie the TBA admit there IS a problem and that it IS a work in progress. All breeds have been a "work in progress" at one time or another from the oldest breeds of ancient times to the newest of today. Yet the TDR will only admit perfection, and blasphemy others. I'll be sure to spread the word with all my other dog-pals of this situation and draw support for the TBA. Anyhow, long of the short is, I think its great work you all are doing and I hope to see the Aatu (official parent club being the TBA) in the misc AKC class/group in the not so far future. Ambitious I know but one should dream BIG!
Kim seems to be one of the or THE ring leader of this small group, so a special message to her: my hats off to you. way to go. thanks standing up for whats right and letting the world know.
