Tamaskan Dog Forum

Posted by buckhorntamaskan on September 16, 2009 at 5:58 PM

Snap!  I have been banned.  For no apparent reason I may add.  I can only assume that because I post the truth, they can't handle it!  I haven't posted anything lately that has been negative or they have felt the need to delete, as so many of my posts have been.

If you would like to know the kinds of things they are deleting from the general public they would include:

Information I posted in reference to Juneau's epilepsy coming from his Tamaskan lineage... Information on related Tamaskan dogs having Epilepsy, Addisons and VWD... Information that I posted in reference to several now Tamaskans that were born Utonagans... these same Utonagans are being bred and litters being sold as Tamaskans... information that I posted calling out certain members in lies... I'm sure there were others, but you get the picture.

These are just some of the truths they will try to hide, but don't believe me...  Question them, research them and draw your own conclusions.  This is how I came to know all the facts I know.

I would just like to invite all enthusiasts, owners, and breeders (as well as anyone who is interested in Tamaskan Dogs in general) to join the International Tamaskan Forum, which was created on May 7th, 2010.

Since this is a privately-funded forum, it's quite a bit different to the old forum, which no longer exists. There are no annoying adverts or pop-ups but, more importantly, we are also more free to share our opinions and discuss important issues (in a civil / respectful manner) as we are no longer bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Free Host provider, as was the case with the previous forum... which is why the moderators / admin were much more hasty to ban "potential troublemakers" so as to maintain a "safe" environment that would not jeopardize the forum as a whole.

While there are still some important rules in place, to ensure a friendly community environment, the new forum is more open to honest discussion about existing issues; health being a main priority. On that note, we won't tolerate any conspiracy theories / speculation / rumors / etc which are based on anything less than 100% watertight scientific fact (no hearsay) - these sites already exist all over the internet and serve no use on our forum except to cause heated arguments. Any discussions related to health, health testing, etc are fully welcomed - as long as there is no "finger pointing" - we're all trying to work together to improve the breed and health is at the forefront of this effort, so it's important to look to the future and work with what exists at present, rather than get stuck in the past and what could or should have been done differently.

Anyway, once again, I would just like to say that this new forum is quite a bit different to the old forum and we are keen to encourage a diplomatic base for all reputable breeders and owners worldwide.

Thanks for reading and I hope it isn't inappropriate to post this here - I just wanted to clear up the fact that things have changed a bit. :)
